El 2024 ha tornat a ser un any carregat de ciència i innovació. Mes a mes ens hem apropat, a través d’una imatge, als avenços dels laboratoris de la nostra xarxa d’investigadors, als llocs on es crea la ciència que acaba beneficiant de maneres molt diverses el conjunt de la societat. Amb aquestes 10 #InstantàniesCaixaResearch resumim un 2024 d’avenços en biomedicina i salut, un any en què els investigadors de la nostra xarxa han fet passos en la comprensió del càncer o de l’Alzheimer, han descobert nous mosquits portadors de malalties o han entès millor la identitat de les cèl·lules, entre moltes altres coses.

On 8 and 9 March, we will be presenting our new CaixaImpulse Innovation programme in Portugal. 

CaixaImpulse Innovation will support biomedical research projects from Spanish and Portuguese research centers, hospitals and universities that can have an impact on society. This programme aims to accelerate the transfer of research results from the laboratory to patients by creating new products, services and companies in life sciences and health.

We offer scientific entrepreneurs financial support to boost their projects —up to 700,000 euros — as well as individualised, flexible support thanks to personal mentors, consultants and training.

On 8 March, we will hold a plenary session in Porto at i3S that will be open to all interested parties from the center and other institutions.
