{"id":9128,"date":"2024-11-13T08:20:54","date_gmt":"2024-11-13T07:20:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.caixaresearch.org\/?p=9128"},"modified":"2024-11-13T08:30:26","modified_gmt":"2024-11-13T07:30:26","slug":"resolucio-health-research-2024-caixaresearch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.caixaresearch.org\/ca\/resolucio-health-research-2024-caixaresearch\/","title":{"rendered":"Suport de 25,7 milions a projectes de recerca  b\u00e0sica, cl\u00ednica i translacional en biomedicina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3dRAG5TzvEM?si=st_xgNdgZTEc0dpx\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>La Fundaci\u00f3 \u201dla Caixa\u201d ha seleccionat 29 nous projectes de recerca biom\u00e8dica d\u2019excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia amb gran impacte social dins de la <a href=\"https:\/\/caixaresearch.org\/ca\/convocatoria-caixaresearch-investigacio-salut-resultats-2024\">convocat\u00f2ria CaixaResearch d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 en Salut 2024<\/a>, dotada amb 25,7 milions d\u2019euros, perqu\u00e8 es puguin dur a terme en diversos centres de recerca, hospitals i universitats d\u2019Espanya i Portugal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entre els guardonats enguany hi ha 11 projectes liderats des de 6 centres de recerca catalans: Centre de Regulaci\u00f3 Gen\u00f2mica (CRG), Vall d\u2019Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR), Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya (IBEC), Institut de Recerca Biom\u00e8dica (IRB Barcelona), Institut d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Biom\u00e8dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) i Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF).<\/p>\n<p>La setena edici\u00f3 d\u2019aquesta convocat\u00f2ria, a la qual s\u2019havien presentat 580 propostes de recerca b\u00e0sica, cl\u00ednica i translacional, est\u00e0 especialment dirigida a l\u2019abordatge de reptes de salut en diferents \u00e0mbits: malalties infeccioses (amb 7 projectes seleccionats), oncologia (6), malalties cardiovasculars i metab\u00f2liques relacionades (5) i neuroci\u00e8ncies (5). D\u2019altra banda, 6 iniciatives m\u00e9s desenvoluparan tecnologies facilitadores en algun d\u2019aquests camps.<\/p>\n<p>Entre els seleccionats aquest any hi ha, per exemple, projectes orientats a cercar una cura per una malaltia gen\u00e8tica degenerativa letal que afecta a infants; a explorar noves estrat\u00e8gies per ampliar l\u2019accessibilitat de les ter\u00e0pias CAR-T contra el c\u00e0ncer; a desenvolupar una retina sint\u00e8tica per recuperar la visi\u00f3 en casos de ceguesa per retinosi pigment\u00e0ria; a crear nous f\u00e0rmacs contra la mal\u00e0ria basats en un mecanisme d\u2019acci\u00f3 vinculat a la pr\u00f2pia biologia del par\u00e0sit Plasmodium; a desenvolupar una r\u00e8plica de l\u2019ecosistema d\u2019un tumor de c\u00f2lon en un xip per estudiar l\u2019efic\u00e0cia de les immunoter\u00e0pies; o a impulsar una ter\u00e0pia amb bacteris per combatre la met\u00e0stasi pulmonar.<\/p>\n<p>Els ajuts suposen un suport econ\u00f2mic de fins a 500.000 euros per a projectes presentats per una \u00fanica organitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019investigaci\u00f3 i de fins a un mili\u00f3 d\u2019euros per a projectes presentats per consorcis d\u2019entre 2 i 5 organitzacions d\u2019investigaci\u00f3. Tots tindran fins a 3 anys per executar les seves investigacions.<\/p>\n<p>Enguany, els 29 projectes seleccionats estan liderats per cient\u00edfics i cient\u00edfiques d\u201911 centres espanyols i 6 de portuguesos. En els projectes en consorci hi col\u00b7laboren grups de recerca dels Pa\u00efsos Baixos, Alemanya, Singapur, It\u00e0lia, Israel i Austr\u00e0lia.<\/p>\n<h3>Una convocat\u00f2ria competitiva i col\u00b7laborativa<\/h3>\n<p>La convocat\u00f2ria es duu a terme en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb la Funda\u00e7\u00e3o para a Ci\u00eancia e a Tecnologia (FCT), del Ministeri de Ci\u00e8ncia, Tecnologia i Ensenyament Superior de Portugal, que hi aporta 2,9 milions d\u2019euros per subvencionar 3 dels 9 projectes portuguesos seleccionats en aquesta edici\u00f3. Aix\u00ed mateix, tamb\u00e9 t\u00e9 suport de la Fundaci\u00f3n Luz\u00f3n, que subvenciona, juntament amb la Fundaci\u00f3 \u201dla Caixa\u201d, un projecte sobre l\u2019esclerosi lateral amiotr\u00f2fica (ELA)<\/p>\n<p>CaixaForum Madrid ha acollit avui l\u2019acte de lliurament dels ajuts, al qual han acudit diversos representants de la Fundaci\u00f3 \u201dla Caixa\u201d, com el director general, Antoni Vila Bertr\u00e1n; el director general adjunt, Joan Ramon Fuertes; el president del Comit\u00e8 Cient\u00edfic, Javier Solana; el director de l\u2019\u00c0rea de Relacions amb Institucions d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 i Salut, Ignasi L\u00f3pez, i el patr\u00f3 de la Fundaci\u00f3 i president honorari del Banc Portugu\u00eas de Investimento (BPI), Artur Santos Silva. Aix\u00ed mateix hi han assistit la presidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3n Luz\u00f3n, Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Arregui, i la presidenta del Consell Directiu de la FCT, Madalena Alves, com tamb\u00e9 els investigadors i investigadores que s\u00f3n al capdavant dels projectes.<\/p>\n<p>CaixaResearch d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 en Salut \u00e9s una convocat\u00f2ria competitiva en qu\u00e8 participen experts internacionals de gran prestigi en els seus camps d\u2019estudi per a la selecci\u00f3 dels projectes de m\u00e9s excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia cient\u00edfica i impacte social. Des que va comen\u00e7ar el programa el 2018, la dotaci\u00f3 total de la convocat\u00f2ria ha estat de 145,7 milions d\u2019euros per a 200 projectes, 137 dels quals han estat liderats per equips espanyols, i 63, per grups de recerca de Portugal. Actualment, aquesta \u00e9s la convocat\u00f2ria filantr\u00f2pica d\u2019investigaci\u00f3 en biomedicina i salut m\u00e9s important d\u2019Espanya i Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Els investigadors que desitgin optar a un ajut en la convocat\u00f2ria de 2025 poden presentar els seus projectes fins al 20 de novembre d\u2019aquest any. Com a novetat, en l\u2019edici\u00f3 vinent les iniciatives centrades en malalties minorit\u00e0ries pedi\u00e0triques i en diabetis de tipus 1 tindran l\u2019oportunitat de rebre finan\u00e7ament espec\u00edfic en el marc de col\u00b7laboracions amb la Fundaci\u00f3 de Recerca Sant Joan de D\u00e9u i amb la Fundaci\u00f3 Breakthrough T1D, respectivament.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A
