Actualment, prop de 150.000 persones a Espanya estan afectades per aquestes lesions, amb m\u00e9s de 1.000 casos nous diagnosticats cada any.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Per aix\u00f2, el gran repte \u00e9s desenvolupar solucions eficaces que facin possible una rehabilitaci\u00f3 adequada i millorin la qualitat de vida de les persones que s\u2019enfronten a aquesta condici\u00f3 m\u00e8dica tan complexa.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En aquesta nova edici\u00f3 de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">News from the lab <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">parlem amb <\/span><b>Alfons Carnicero, CEO i cofundador d\u2019<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>ABLE Human Motion<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, empresa de dispositius m\u00e8dics de Barcelona que dissenya i fabrica <\/span><b>exoesquelets rob\u00f2tics per ajudar les persones afectades a recuperar la mobilitat i la independ\u00e8ncia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fa set anys el projecte <\/span><b>ABLE va obtenir un <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/caixaresearch.org\/ca\/convocatoria-caixaresearch-validate-2017-projecte-exoesquelet-biorobotic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>ajut CaixaImpulse d\u2019Innovaci\u00f3 en Salut<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> i, despr\u00e9s d\u2019haver estat treballant uns quants anys per validar la tecnologia als millors hospitals de neurorehabilitaci\u00f3 d\u2019Alemanya, Pa\u00efsos Baixos, Regne Unit i Espanya, <\/span><b>ha aconseguit el marcatge CE del seu primer producte, l\u2019<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ablehumanmotion.com\/able-human-motion-exoskeleton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>ABLE Exoskeleton<\/b><\/a><b>, segons el nou Reglament de dispositius m\u00e8dics (MDR). Aquesta llic\u00e8ncia, molt estricta i dif\u00edcil d\u2019obtenir, \u00e9s imprescindible per comercialitzar el dispositiu a la Uni\u00f3 Europea<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00abAquest certificat \u00e9s la culminaci\u00f3 de 5 anys d\u2019esfor\u00e7 d\u2019un equip fant\u00e0stic de gent jove, amb talent i apassionada que vol utilitzar la tecnologia per millorar la vida de les persones\u00bb, comenta Alfons Carnicero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xBDoEhVDPOA?si=fsz5E84KXEUy4jtc\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Els exoesquelets actuals s\u00f3n molt cars, amb un cost aproximat de 150.000\u00a0\u20ac. Per tant, nom\u00e9s es troben en grans hospitals i centres de rehabilitaci\u00f3 que estan fora de l\u2019abast de molts pacients. El nou <\/span><b>ABLE Exoskeleton \u00e9s el primer exoesquelet lleuger, r\u00e0pid d\u2019ajustar i accessible que es podr\u00e0 comercialitzar a tota la Uni\u00f3 Europea a partir d\u2019ara<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De moment es fa servir per a la rehabilitaci\u00f3 en un entorn cl\u00ednic. El dispositiu est\u00e0 dissenyat per a persones amb lesions en la medul\u00b7la espinal i utilitza sensors i algoritmes que <\/span><b>detecten la transfer\u00e8ncia del pes del pacient, la qual cosa indica quan s\u2019ha de fer el moviment i, en conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, quan s\u2019han d\u2019activar els motors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
