Comprendre els mecanismes que hi ha darrere d\u2019aquesta interacci\u00f3 neuronal \u00e9s essencial per entendre com funciona el nostre cervell i podria obrir noves portes al desenvolupament de tractaments innovadors per als trastorns de salut mental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En aquesta nova edici\u00f3 de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">News from the lab, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">us presentem un recent estudi publicat a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-024-47385-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><i>Nature Communications<\/i><\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que ha estat dut a terme pel <\/span><b>Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncol\u00f3gicas (CNIO)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, l\u2019<\/span><b>Institut de Recerca Biom\u00e8dica (IRB Barcelona)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, el <\/span><b>Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica en Red de Enfermedades Raras (CIBERER)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> i la <\/span><b>Universitat de Barcelona<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, amb el<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/caixaresearch.org\/ca\/convocatoria-caixaresearch-investigacio-salut-2020-projecte-esquizofrenia-ictus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>suport de la<\/b> <b>Fundaci\u00f3 \u201dla Caixa\u201d<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y el <\/span><b>Ministeri de Ci\u00e8ncia, Innovaci\u00f3 i Universitats.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnio.es\/personas\/oscar-llorca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>\u00d3scar Llorca<\/b><\/a><b>, del CNIO, i <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irbbarcelona.org\/ca\/research\/amino-acid-transporters-and-disease\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Manuel Palac\u00edn<\/b><\/a><b>, de l\u2019IRB Barcelona i la Universitat de Barcelona, l\u00edders de l\u2019estudi, han desvelat l\u2019estructura i el mecanisme d\u2019actuaci\u00f3 d\u2019Asc-1, una prote\u00efna que es troba a les neurones l\u2019activitat de la qual est\u00e0 relacionada amb l\u2019aprenentatge i la mem\u00f2ria, i tamb\u00e9 amb el desenvolupament de diversos tipus de malalties neurol\u00f2giques.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La prote\u00efna <\/span><b>Asc-1 actua com una mena de comporta que regula l\u2019entrada i la sortida d\u2019amino\u00e0cids a les neurones<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Els amino\u00e0cids s\u00f3n components essencials per a la formaci\u00f3 de les nostres prote\u00efnes i, en concret, Asc-1 regula el pas dels amino\u00e0cids que s\u00f3n necessaris per a diferents funcions cognitives.
