Mitjan\u00e7ant aquesta exposici\u00f3 podrem con\u00e8ixer com s&#8217;avan\u00e7a en el coneixement sobre l&#8217;estudi del cervell en el marc d&#8217;un projecte d&#8217;avantguarda, interdisciplinari i d&#8217;extrema complexitat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Un dels grans reptes cient\u00edfics del segle XXI \u00e9s aconseguir comprendre el cervell hum\u00e0. Aix\u00f2 suposaria descobrir qu\u00e8 ens fa humans, desenvolupar tecnologies inform\u00e0tiques revolucion\u00e0ries i desenvolupar nous tractaments per a les malalties que afecten el nostre \u00f2rgan m\u00e9s desconegut. Font: Laboratori Cajal de Circuits Corticals UPM-CSIC<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Un dels principals objectius d&#8217;aquest projecte \u00e9s recopilar tot el coneixement existent sobre el cervell hum\u00e0 i reconstruir-lo, regi\u00f3 a regi\u00f3, utilitzant models basats en la simulaci\u00f3 i en la supercomputaci\u00f3. Aquests models ofereixen la perspectiva d&#8217;una nova comprensi\u00f3 del cervell hum\u00e0 i de les seves malalties. El gener de 2013, la Comissi\u00f3 Europea va donar suport a aquesta estrat\u00e8gia, i va anunciar la selecci\u00f3 del projecte de recerca sobre el cervell hum\u00e0 com un dels dos grans projectes per ser finan\u00e7at. La primera fase del projecte va comen\u00e7ar oficialment l&#8217;1 d&#8217;octubre de 2013 i la durada prevista \u00e9s de deu anys (2013-2023), amb uns costos totals de prop de 1.000 milions d&#8217;euros. Actualment, en aquest macroprojecte participen 113 institucions de recerca europees i internacionals pertanyents a diverses disciplines cient\u00edfiques.
