Quines compet\u00e8ncies necessitaran els professionals en el futur? Podran les universitats donar-hi resposta? Reflexionar i debatre sobre aquestes i altres q\u00fcestions amb la intenci\u00f3 de repensar les universitats ha estat un dels principals objectius de la <a href=\"http:\/\/symposium.uoc.edu\/event_detail\/4468\/detail\/research-week-2016_-imagine-the-university-of-the-future.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">UOC Research Week<\/a>, celebrada del 18 al 22 d&#8217;abril amb el suport de l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/obrasociallacaixa.org\/ca\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Obra Social &#8220;la Caixa&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> El tret de sortida va ser el UOC Research Showcase, presidit per <strong>Josep A. Planell<\/strong>, rector de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), on es van presentar vint-i-un treballs de recerca per con\u00e8ixer una selecci\u00f3 de la recerca i la innovaci\u00f3 de la Universitat.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1sHGtr5Wv9o\" width=\"400\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> <strong>Les sessions i les taules rodones sobre el futur de la universitat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Amb el t\u00edtol<em> Imagine the university of the future<\/em>, la UOC Research Week va posar a l&#8217;abast de tothom la seva recerca m\u00e9s puntera en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit de l&#8217;<em>e-learning<\/em> i la va complementar amb la participaci\u00f3 d&#8217;especialistes internacionals. A tall d&#8217;exemple, en el marc de l&#8217;esdeveniment, el seu <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uoc.edu\/portal\/ca\/elearncenter\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">eLearn Center<\/a> va <a href=\"http:\/\/symposium.uoc.edu\/event_detail\/4468\/sections\/3692\/the-final-frontier-in-elearning_-four-approaches-to-define-tomorrowrs-education.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">presentar els resultats de tres projectes<\/a> que preveuen una an\u00e0lisi del futur de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 superior des de les vessants social, pedag\u00f2gica i tecnol\u00f2gica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> El primer estudi \u2014<em>Future Scenarios for Digital Learners<\/em>\u2014 va aprofundir en les necessitats del consumidor de formaci\u00f3 digital; el segon \u2014<em>Future of University Teaching: Update and a Roadmap for Advancement<\/em>\u2014 es va centrar en les tend\u00e8ncies educatives i pedag\u00f2giques del futur. Finalment, el tercer estudi \u2014<em>Future Learning Environments<\/em>\u2014 desenvolupat amb l&#8217;Institut Tecnol\u00f2gic de Massachusetts (MIT), es va focalitzar en l&#8217;arquitectura web necess\u00e0ria per donar cobertura a aquestes tend\u00e8ncies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> En la sessi\u00f3 <a href=\"http:\/\/symposium.uoc.edu\/event_detail\/4468\/sections\/3693\/visitors-and-residents_-a-look-towards-digital-learnersand39;-activity.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Visitants i residents: una mirada a l&#8217;activitat dels aprenents digitals<\/em><\/a>, <strong>David White<\/strong>, cap de Technology Enhanced Learning de la Universitat de les Arts de Londres, va apuntar que, a m\u00e9s d&#8217;adaptar-se a les noves realitats, les universitats tenen la missi\u00f3 de \u00abpromoure el pensament cr\u00edtic i la creativitat entre els estudiants\u00bb. L&#8217;especialista brit\u00e0nic explica que amb la revoluci\u00f3 digital les universitats ja no poden actuar com a propiet\u00e0ries de coneixement, sin\u00f3 com a font d&#8217;experts curadors. Els estudiants necessiten la guia de mans expertes a l&#8217;hora de destriar el gra de la palla, i per a White aquest \u00ab\u00e9s un bon servei que les universitats poden oferir\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CvpCJJZOIEQ\" width=\"400\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Un altra taula rodona \u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/symposium.uoc.edu\/event_detail\/4468\/sections\/3691\/what-can-future-education-do-in-order-to-overcome-gendered-academic-and-occupational-interests_.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Qu\u00e8 pot fer l&#8217;ensenyament del futur per superar els interessos acad\u00e8mics i ocupacionals basats en el g\u00e8nere?<\/em><\/a>\u2014, organitzada pel grup de <a href=\"http:\/\/transfer.rdi.uoc.edu\/ca\/grup\/relacions-entre-el-genere-i-les-tic-la-societat-del-coneixement\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">G\u00e8nere i TIC <\/a>de l&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/in3.uoc.edu\/opencms_portalin3\/opencms\/en\/index.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Internet Interdisciplinary Institute<\/a> (IN3) de la UOC, va posar de relleu la bretxa de g\u00e8nere en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit de la ci\u00e8ncia, la tecnologia, l&#8217;enginyeria i les matem\u00e0tiques (STEM, en angl\u00e8s).
