Junts, Miguel Gonz\u00e1lez i Jing Kong, han apostat per un enfocament alternatiu a aquesta q\u00fcesti\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p> Com a oftalm\u00f2leg, la seva recerca se centra a buscar un substitut de la c\u00f2rnia, amb les propietats mec\u00e0niques necess\u00e0ries per evitar els trasplantaments que no solen tenir un bon pron\u00f2stic. La seva col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb el MIT \u00e9s clau, ja que la investigadora <a href=\"https:\/\/isn.mit.edu\/prof-jing-kong\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Jing Kong<\/a> \u00e9s una experta internacional en la s\u00edntesi i fabricaci\u00f3 de nanomaterials.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.caixaresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/ca\/Heridas_Cat_400.jpg\" style=\"width: 400px; height: 400px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p> Fins avui, els esfor\u00e7os per aconseguir teixits al laboratori han tingut un \u00e8xit limitat, en gran part a causa de la complexitat t\u00e8cnica per aconseguir l\u2019estructura i la funcionalitat adequades. Ara, combinant nanomaterials amb diferents pol\u00edmers, Miguel vol generar una membrana basal artificial que separi el teixit epitelial del teixit connectiu subjacent.
